In the Zuni way all have great healing abilities but white bears are especially powerful. Because bears are most like humans they play an important roll as emissaries to the spirit world. Bryson Bobelu gave this white marble standing bear bright eyes of inlaid turquoise and a mouth of red coral so that it might speak. He adorned and honored the bear with a necklace of inlaid turquoise and coral. About 3 3/4" tall, 1 1/4" wide, and 1" deep.
