A beautiful hand painted enamel brooch. The painting is in silver over black enamel and depicts two birds and flowers. This type of painting was undertaken with a very fine brush (one or two brush hairs). It is expertly painted and surrounded by a silver tone metal roped wire. The pin works well and the enamel is fine, with spots of wear to the silver paint.
